I worked for a GIS maker in the 90s whose biggest customer was a water utility. They knew where every pipe was and had (IIRC) a public health requirement to be able to trace cryptosporidium outbreaks (among other things) on a per-pipe basis

In my experience, if you're on good terms with the staff at your juice place, they'll often put the extra in a second cup for you. Edit: I agree that the waste is ridiculous

The use of "native" in this thread is confusing. My understanding is that in the US, the term is normally used to refer to "Native Americans" I'm not sure what the correct term would be though. "Natural born ci

I used to live a couple of doors down from a traditional family run bakery in Bury St Edmunds (sadly closed in 98 or 99). Bakery hours were a mixed blessing, the wonderful smell of fresh baked bread needs no introduction, but in the summer

If you have been growing/honing your skill set, is your code available on github? Has anyone reviewed it for you? One of the challenges with growing in isolation is the lack of feedback from peers.

Good! It's worth pushing that as much as, maybe more than, the bootcamp. Do you have a mentor? Someone in the industry who can give you feedback? There may be something simple that you can change
