While I'm not an expert, I suspect you're right. Point being that some lakes serve a different purpose than supporting a thriving ecosystem.

Depends on the lake. There is a reservoir near LA covered in millions of black balls. Apparently this is a side effect of water quality regulation, direct sunlight triggers a chemical reaction that produces harmful byproducts. As a bonus, e

Alternatively, the present is the weighted average of past causal influences. This event had no causal influence over the humans figuring out how to make baskets. From Earth perspective, the event just happened.

The West is weak. It surrendered a long time ago. I see no reason to believe it would suddenly grow a will to stand for itself. Trump is but a blip, and he's merely a caricature to begin with.

The task of an error "handling" mechanism could be then described as: A. Create an error object, enter "error mode". B. Annotate an error object with contextual information at each call point. C. Return the error object

The confusing part is the underlying assumption that there exists a way to "handle" errors, understood as a way to workaround the error and somehow continue execution. This is most of the times futile, there is nothing to "ha

How's the cross-platform library ecosystem? My distant sentiment is that the bulk of libraries are tied to / provided by Apple, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Sorry, I meant persistent vectors. Data structures with type Vector[T] instead of Tuple[T0, T1, ...], amortized O(1) updates and list-like syntax for literals, e.g. i[x0, x1]. It's a minor annoyance, in most cases using vanilla Python
