It's harder to do, but you don't even need to be in same city. Build a strong portfolio, for us it's several good projects on Github and jobs will come by themselves.

That's shortsighted, this is what Google Now, can do.. well, right now. But in the future it will be extended to make your life easier, i.e tell you when you get close to a cinema that is displaying a movie of a director that you like, tell

To be fair to Yahoo, nowhere do they mention that the remote workers are at fault for the company or the workforce struggles. They only want them performing better. I'm pro remote working, but I can't see the fault in that.

Safari won't run any flash animation until you actually have the tab active and is pretty reliable. I'll be happy if they do that.

I remember how impressed I was when I used clang's static analyser for the first time. I love it, more than makes up for that headache of switching from GCC on OSX.

I know he has contributed a lot, but I didn't know he started OpenGL, neither could find a source on that. EDIT: Oh, disregard that, it seems that I can't read. He "wrote" for OpenGL, not wrote OpenGL itself.
