Collation in a database determines case sensitivity in MSSQL. If the collation has "cs", it's case-sensitive. If it has "ci", it is case-insensitive. Collation is configurable at the server level, but usually one go

macOS hasn't used HFS+ as the default FS in what 10+ years? APFS is case-insensitive by default. It can be formatted to be case-sensitive. I don't think you can change sensitivity on the fly like Windows.

Windows can be configured to have whole-volume case-sensitivity with NTFS, or even directory-specific case-sensitivity. However, case-sensitivity is user-unfriendly. README.DOCX, Readme.docx, ReAdMe.DocX -- which document did they really wa

That's a very narrow view of what a WAF does. You may want to review the OWASP ruleset at https://coreruleset.org/ . However, this is just the ruleset. WAF vendors usually offer features above and beyond OWASP rule pars

Defense in-depth. I would hope few would want a vulnerable web app and simply protect it via a WAF. But just because your web app is 'invulnerable' doesn't mean you should forgo the WAF.

File system filters are pluggable kernel drivers. For example, ProcMon (Sysinternals tool) monitors file systems via a file system filter -- so fun fact, if you outright disable file system filters on a ReFS volume, you won't get any P

Proton relies on Linux sys APIs not available on macOS, but the Porting Toolkit is available. I've been able to "play" Noita on my M2 Air (granted the perf sucks, but that's what I get for owning an Air). This discussion
