I see a graphical visualization of latency with multiple points and error bars. Maybe "graph" isn't the right technical term? Edit: It's a box and whisker plot: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/stat

Nice. Every speed test should have a "latency under load" graph, because we can't fight bufferbloat if we can't see it. DSLReports had the first bufferbloat test I'm aware of, but it's broken now. Another exam

Coincidentally, I saw this headline after waking from a dream where a unicorn bashed through the window of my childhood kitchen, and I had to fight it off with a water gun. Melatonin, not even once.

softseek.com was better, because everything had a screenshot. I would actually prefer this interface over modern app stores: https://web.archive.org/web/19991013034959/http://softseek.c...

Consider asking for help with route visibility on NANOG, provided that your discussion is "focused on operational and technical content only". Avoid speculation about why your route is not visible, and just work on debugging th

MichaelZuo is defending an unnecessarily precise definition of the word "quote" and you are refusing to acknowledge it. I doubt that either of you are in this for the humor; that simply emerges from the duration and pointlessness

It probably makes more sense to derive that information from measurements. There are a lot of ISPs in the world, and allocation policies can change, even if you manage to find a person who knows what they are.

T-Mobile uses NAT64. 6to4 is a (mostly deprecated) protocol for tunneling IPv6 over IPv4.

CGNAT is not a problem. It is a necessity because there are more humans than IPv4 addresses. The problem is deploying CGNAT without also providing IPv6 as an alternative.

You can number a LAN with fd00::/64 and use IPv6 NAT to reach the internet, so the addresses are even shorter than 192.168.1.x. It's just not commonly done that way.

Interesting. It's only possible to terminate 2002::/16 using a public IPv4 address, so if you're behind a NAT router, then the router itself must be running 6to4.
