there's an M in MRI (for "Magnetic") just because "Nuclear" didn't have the same harmless ring to it. This is not something to do for fun.

Could be handy. A must-have option is to keep image ratio or not (as of now if you upload something rectangular you end up with an ugly distorted stuff)

Gmail should just get a brand new "Compose Email" that's not an infuriating fucking tiny half-baked pop-up.

There's a typo in your title. It should have been: "Show HN: yet another unlaunched stuff that asks for your email without even explaining what it will be about"

Is there any opportunity for non-US non-profit associations? That "501(c)(3) status" seems blocking.

Everyday there seem to be a couple posts about Google/Gmail being down for domains/that country/whatever. Unless these posts link to an article explaining hows, whys or anything relevant, I think these posts are utterly uninteresting. To ke

After reading your article I'm now investigating around that Doxie stuff, thanks for this. The wife regularly pesters me because she wants to scan stuff but I've always thought scanners where device from the 90s, never occured to me they ac

Can't google shit, sure, but sure you can move. Just as if you were dropped somewhere on Earth and had to figure out. First tip to get is "do they drive left or right handed" :)

Quite awesomely ironic. I feel very sorry for the guy who has to contact site owners one by one and deal with email answers after their Perl script has automated a few million comments all over the net...

I find this utterly shocking, wrongly elitist and, to some extent, racist.

All jokes aside, it's fairly obvious we're dooomed to be Skynet'd one day or another in the future.

It's more "Outlook: 1, Gmail: 50" lately. The new "compose" has got me angry at least twice a day.

I was adding a comment but then I got "Sorry, but our system has recognised you as a spammer. If you believe this to be an error, please contact us so that we can rectify the situation." Don't know what plugins you're using there, but they'

While this is totally true (what's the point in gathering people to get them to read instead of talk?) this is just how it works in most places. Ask people to read something before a meeting: 80% show up without having read, no matter how

Depressing. Because no matter how I manage and what I'll actually achieve, it'll be too short anyway and I know it. Being reminded it is too depressing.

Why bother reading novels or watch thriller movies when there are comments like this? :)

You're 2 years late, I've finished writing my book! Joke aside, I think that's awesome. While writing a book and getting feedback from lots of people (tech review, copy review, etc..) it slowly became a nightmare to decipher, more than actu
