Dang it. I noticed that my user agent was one of the biggest identifiers for me (1 in 200 users), and I realized it was because I was still on Chrome 76 while most users were on Chrome 77. So, I finally restarted my browser to allow the upd

I think they're doing that to test that your fingerprint remains the same across multiple domains. They don't have to do that to fingerprint you; just to make sure that you don't have any anti-fingerprinting going on.

I'd be curious to see the source of your SVG -- it may be smaller but I wonder how it'd compare on readability and ease of making modifications to it.

This appears to be legit. I got the email about free Lumens, but I don't have a Stellar key signed by my private key. Granted, I haven't signed into my account from any of Keybase's mobile apps, but it seems unlikely that the

I think that this is kind of a good thing. If you abuse the "hide tweets" feature to block people giving fair criticism, you'll probably get called out on it. But if you use it only to hide true garbage replies, then no one w

Had to look it up, it looks like he put $1000 towards California's Proposition 8 (to un-legalize same-sex marriage). In March 2014, he was named as Mozilla's new CEO, but resigned 9 days later under fire. https://www.cn

They've gone a lot further than that: assigning names to tons of stuff, adding comments, organizing all the files, and setting up a full build process so you can recompile a new ROM with modifications.

Seriously, these photos are really creeping me out. They've _almost_ escaped uncanny valley but the little details (wonky ears, unnatural hair, weird artifacts) make them super creepy. The worst I've gotten is this guy: https:&#x

Perhaps you can use it on your own machine, but you can't redistribute it and you can't publish any works that use the font. A font is next to worthless if you can't publish anything you typed with it.

The biggest benefit to Bash scripting over a friendlier language is that Bash is guaranteed to just work on pretty much every machine. Bash is on virtually every *nix machine (except maybe embedded devices), and it's extremely resilien

I like the spirit of this, but the problem is that it only works if everyone operates at least somewhat in line with it. If you're liberal in what you accept, then people are going to start being liberal in what they send, and soon we&

This reads less like a "mistake", and more like just not giving any thought to what your code is doing as you write it. A mistake would be if the programmer meant to implement X but instead implemented Y; this sounds more like the

One of the big advantages of the monorepo is actually that it prevents technical debt from accumulating. If a change somewhere else breaks your code, you can't put off dealing with it -- you are forced to fix the issue immediately.
