Not saying the author has this intent, but if I was trying to spy on people, I wouldn't include spyware in the initial release...

Ton has been a hero of mine ever since I started using Blender at the age of 9. That software was my childhood. I became very emotional watching him hand the baton to the rest of the team. Feels like the end of an era.

I'd love to use this with AnkiConnect, so I can have it make cards during conversations.

My feedback as an Anki user: 1. The landing page and app UI is beautiful and fast, great work. 2. Never require signup for trying an app, especially for a Show HN. 3. I see the value in trying to prevent memorization of Q → A patterns, but

While spatial intelligence is certainly a major limitation of current AI systems, I have been able to get LLMs to do quite impressive things. Here's an on the fly video I made (no retakes) of Claude generating a Godot scene file. http

Swapping out organs may be an option in the future. I'm getting a bioengineering degree so I can't work in organ engineering research. We're definitely not there yet, but there's a lot of interesting research happening i

I would reach out to Charachorder and ask if you can get a priority shipment of one of their products. They spend a lot of time making informative videos about their product, and disabilities is a significant use case. If your friend is wil

Things I love: 1. Start and stop button. I love this explicit control over who is talking when. 2. Ability to upload files while the voice chat is going. Great idea. Often times I use gpt voice chat for studying, and it's annoying when

As an engineering undergrad, I don't think any online work should count toward the student's grade, unless you're allowed to use the Internet however you want to complete it. There simply isn't any other way of structuri

This move actually makes a lot of sense, and it's shameful that the US government has failed to implement this already. As far as security goes, there's no reason why the system can't be built securely. It's simply a mat

I wish search engine algorithms/SEO were versioned, which would allow you to get a more consistent experience. The same applies to system prompts of closed LLMs. The most important part for me is understanding how to communicate with e

My reasoning for evaluating the relevancy of this app: 1. If the food being scanned has a nutrition label, I don't need this app. 2. If there's no nutrition label, the app can't possibly extrapolate the nutritional informatio

Yes, same guy. He wrote a list of all his accomplishments, whining about his college rejections. Painfully pretentious individual.

Concerning zoning laws, when my father built his house, he really had to be clever in order to dodge the local county's regulations. 1. He had to hire a biologist to convince the county inspectors that the property was not wetlands. 2.

The words were correct in the YouTube subtitles, both in spelling and sequence. It must have been a problem with the transcription or some other bug (whitespace?)

+1 this definitely makes sense, since you're gonna have a million verbs ending in "masen", just make it a separate word and understand that it's just part of the conjugation.

I absolutely love the idea. I would honestly use this. However, when I tried the English learning, it incorrectly marked words wrong several times. Something to check out.

The "don't lie to me" button for a human is asking them, "where did you learn that fact?" Grounding isn't very different from that.
