I bought one last year and it's honestly pretty fun to get them to work and display a Linux tty. I'll try to get some home automation stuff running on it if I can.

Sure... but "technically perfectly capable of supporting this kind of extensibility" is not true in my opinion, you'd need quite a few changes to allow this to happen safely. Apple doesn't even want apps to be sideloaded

Apollo is pretty much iOS's only good Reddit client, Android has a few great ones. I personally use Boost. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rubenmayay...

I'd like to hear about them, because apart from enterprise applications, there aren't that many left. Electron is the new desktop Java.

How? I always have to press the power button for like 8 seconds to re-enter pairing mode, otherwise my second device complains about an error :(

Why would you not translate acronyms like OTAN and SIDA? They're just as legitimate as the English variant, especially when they cross international borders. French people will say ONU, OTAN or URSS because they're not tied to a

This extension [1] makes code reviews more bearable, I highly recommend it. I don't understand why Github hasn't shipped this years ago. They've been improving the UX since their acquisition but there's still a long ways

Your comment is funny to me because I have a pair of WH-1000XM3 and the one feature I'm missing the most is Bluetooth multi-point pairing. It's super easy to switch devices with the Bose (even though yeah, it can be finicky) meani

Don't get me wrong, Oracle sucks, I know—but the article (kind of) acknowledges that and underlines that you don't have to do business with Oracle to use Java.

The article specifically mentions Java 11. I'm sure Jetbrains more than anybody knows about Java's licensing...

It also has nothing to do with the issue. The Play Store could be (and has been made) more and more safe, while retaining the option of alternative stores and installation sources.
