I agree in general, but isn't number 2 just an opinion? Surely the advice would be to just pick one way and stick to it without mixing in others.

Yeah, I really wouldn't recommend doing this in a city. Even though the output power probably isn't much, there will be so many spurious emissions and harmonics that you don't know who you'll interfere with.

I'd be interested to try but I'm told that induction will not work well for what I cook which is mostly chinese food in a wok, unless I have a huge amount of money to drop on an induction stove specially made for woks.

You agree with some pretty awful things then. And any reasonable person would have a problem with the things listed.

The AI failed to classify what it saw as an obstacle to be avoided because it hadn't been trained for that particular instance.

I grow hydroponic tomatoes for fun and they taste much better than supermarket tomatoes. It's probably to do with letting them ripen on the plant and build up their sugar content rather than anything to do with growing technique

I live in a flat and grow tomatoes and things hydroponically in a corner. Big initial cost, but those tomatoes taste so sweet. It's also just a fun hobby, I don't intend to save money on it

This is an idea from the council of ministers. It's gotta get past MEP's, until then it's just a shitty idea. The EU, or rather bodies in the EU, have at other times suggested making encryption mandatory. So don't fret.

A park near me has painfully bright LED lighting on pedestrian footpaths, in a nasty cold blue colour. It destroys your night vision as well. I took a lux meter down the footpath, it registered 75 lux holding it in my hand.

ESP32 is arduino compatible but you don't have to use arduino. You could just use Espressif's own toolchain, which is all command line. Or you could try other boards such as STM32.

Surely having big train stations with massive car parks just outside towns will fit well with car culture. My other idea is high speed trains where you can take your car with you, like eurotunnel but faster.

Yep. That's why I think energy to fuel is potentially a better solution. It will also be a good fit for solar power, as you can just make then stockpile the fuel when the sun is out. For the UK though, I think most fuel would then be i

He claims there is a laser safety screen that cuts the beam off if it is tripped. Rain will trip the laser screen, as will fog. Ergo, this will only work in clear air. Rain and fog will shut it down.
