Well it wasn't there because there was no processed food.. but still the guidance everywhere on earth (except USA) is to eat fresh, non-processed food

> The deeper problem is that you can feed a family with a few bucks at a fast food joint. Eating correctly costs money, money that Americans don't have. No you can't, in reality. It only seems so because the fast-food industry

Well, it's... what we've been told to do (at least in the rest of the world) for more than a century? Packaged as some "app-like" / "tech-like" website? Pathetic

That's a totally wrong way to think about it, akin to "I have nothing to hide so why not let the government look into all my communications"

Interesting! If today I wanted to start a project in a C-like language, I'd have chosen Zig. Would you tell a rough overview of how C3 differs from something like Zig?

Of course, but this is largely unmaintainable, shifting the responsibility of correctness check from libraries to users. That's why we modularize/abstract/simplify, in order to minimize the need for actual checks

"Guy who builds AI for a living is telling people to believe that AI is the single best thing invented since butter" how surprising

That's a fundamental misunderstanding The role of abstractions *IS* to prevent (eg "compress") the need for a test suite, because you have an easy model to understand and reason about

It is, indeed. It's a wrongly-held belief that there is more violent behaviors and crimes from schizophrenic people, etc, but the reverse is true

That wasn't the point of the answer. The point is "How well do you really know someone?". You really don't. Many people live with partners who end up killing them, although they thought they trusted them. Besides, "

Sure, but in France we have about 100/150 feminicides per year. You're much more likely to be killed by your (seemingly "sane") partner in a bout of fury over a breakup than by some random autistic guy

Indeed, but is there a way to do it as a "point in time", eg do a "virtual checkpoint" at a timestamp, and do all the copy operations from that timestamp, so they are coherent?

That's not how science works. Fundamental science works on much longer timescales (10/20/50/100 years), that are not accessible to companies

You don't understand how science works... you wouldn't have nuclear reactors or GPS etc if it wasn't for government run projects

Interesting, for me the "between Rust and Go" would be a nice fit for Swift or Zig. I've always quite liked the language design of Swift, it's bad that it didn't really take off that much
