I've not used this yet, but based from the screenshot it's a shame the time sorting/filtering options don't seem to be available or quickly accessible. I guess this is under 'more search tools'. I probably use this feature the most of those

Interesting, very optimistic project.. Put it just produces a mash of out of context snippets. The biggest problem is that it seems unable to identify introductory information very well, or eliminate references due to news items. I tried a

I could see this coming a mile a way.. Are April Fools stories something so unbearable for one day a year? I think a number of people find these things interesting, creative, and possibly even funny.. Not sure if the fact don't enjoy them c

It seems like it all comes down to what happens after the lecture from the BMI guy. He gets his card and then actually calls him. I'm think if I was in this situation, I wouldn't capitalize on this and just shove the card in a drawer - havi

Do you plan on only having data for the US? If not, have you considered adding the ability to enter data in metric?

This is interesting, what sort of thing did you have in mind? I think a horn is more about communicating between drivers, not cars, and seems like an good solution for this.. In the "hey, im here!" sense, rather than "hey, fuck you buddy!".

Surely these are just seven cliches, trite, or unhelpful phases. I didn't get the impression the list suggests anything that would be a major red flag or an automatic disqualification with anyone except to author. It just reads like a list

I think its a shame they shut it down as well. I can't say about the search engine ranking, but I doubt it would hurt them too badly if it did. I image most of their readers reach wikileaks are direct from blogs, news articles, etc.

I'm interested in what turns up here, outside of arxiv - I have no clue, short of the odd self distributed paper. I'm very much dependent on university journal subscriptions to get full text articles - mostly from sciencedirect. It's a sham

I think the idea would be fun, but I'm afraid this will ultimately turn into just "HomeworkStack".

I also didn't get the "Register to started" link. I found the FAQ linking to "There are no FAQ" kind of odd.. Then why have a link to FAQ? Also, when clicking the "ask a question" link does anyone want an alert telling them to register then

It's an interesting quiz, most of it was pop science stuff that you would pick up if you've been following the news. Pluto/Aspirin/Tsunami's. Questions on these topics were more correctly answered than basic science facts. It's interesting

You still could become a doctor (PhD) and innovate, explore, etc.. Unfortunately, whether or not a career in academia jives with your idea of what it is innovate/build/create would be another decision you'll have to make!

Chrome will automatically add a site's search to the list of available engines when you visit it. So you'd have to visit DuckDuckGo first to have it available.

I'm fairly certain there was a Google Chrome branded developer release available a while ago, outside the chromium daily builds. It was quickly surpassed feature and stability wise by the daily builds and somewhat difficult to find on the c

I think only the announcement is hurried, I'm sure this has been in the works longer. The first company to release the feature won't matter much in the end, it's all about implementation and market share.. So I wouldn't call it "scrambling"
