in our app we have a requirement that is similar.. I kicked and screamed and sent them spec documents from the NIST.. no one cared.. we have a max length of 10 chars... that SERIOUSLY hurts... 8 and 10 chars are our current requirements...

The charger is just letting the load side know what it can supply... There are tons of cheap charges that are specified to supply 65 watts but will happily provide more than that until they melt or light the floor on fire..

I think this is one of the things driving the vinyl resurgence. Albums that release on vinyl tend to less alteration to the dynamic range... Ymmv I've not listened to everything out there :-]

Yes.. I had made a form that was scanned and all the metadata for the page was stored in datamatrix at the bottom.. With a laser printer and a good scanner you can reliably put a lot of data in there...
