MS also invested a ton into Windows Mobile, I imagine, but market share only went down according to Wikipedia. If DDG is simply a skin for MS Bing along with anonymous/little tracking, maybe that's what the people want?

Yep, and tons of others. And, it seems, they all require the feature to transfer providers. Consumers have the upper hand and should take advantage of it. I guess it requires awareness, though.

I agree. It's just so convenient to use Google Photos as a backup and method of sharing albums that the threshold for leaving the service is super high, at least in my book.

I believe you can move chats between devices, they just have to be sourced from Signal and not SMS. SMS/MMS chats are what you may be talking about as immovable from Signal. Those are not shared between your Signal devices for security

I took Jeff's Algorithms class in college and he's one of the best professors I've had. I still struggled through the class but definitely made it through with a great experience.

One of my favorite classes in college was Computer Architecture 1 and 2, which encompassed logic gates, Boolean logic, and progressed to assembly language usage. C was covered in other classes and was a natural next step from Architecture.
