I'm building commercial hardware products using embedded Rust, I love it. I cant really imagine going back to C. I haven't dug too deep into the offerings with this update, but none of the standard library stuff is relevant for me

I know synthesizer manufacturers that are switching over to Rust for their embedded devices, Elektron is an obvious one that comes to mind. There is also some adaptation in the Eurorack space thanks to a lot of open source work done for stm

As a person who has only ever borrowed money for tuition, I don't understand the attitude that "debt is good", I never have and I probably never will. To me, an economy that is fueled from debt is a broken economy. If you nee

Theres a lot of criticism here about “async rust”. I find this wording strange, I use rust asynchronously with rtic (realtime interrupt concurrency) for low level work. Its really excellent. Are peoples criticisms specifically about inline

I was burnt out for about a year, two main symptoms for me were: I hated standups, felt a high degree of anxiety around them, even though I was a very influential and productive team member and I felt completely zapped of all my energy - wa
