Nice, that home gym sounds like a great set up. I've built one at home, focused around a rowing machine (one of the best workouts in my opinion) + weights. I use YouTube row along videos for motivation. I don't know if the live cl

For those who own Peloton products, what do you think of them? Are they genuinely worth the price and continued financial commitment?

I think the abolition of percentage fees needs to happen across a bunch of industries. Property, recruitment, certain aspects of finance (e.g. money transfer). It's really really annoying, and it feels like people put up with it becaus

With Farage, the phrase "empty vessels make the most noise" comes to mind. Apparently he was a loud mouthed joker at school too, who just wanted to say something that would grab people's attention. I'm somewhat thankful

Thanks for the advice. I don't agree with Apple, and don't buy their hardware or software. When I'm buying a general purpose computing device (which is what smartphones have become), I expect a significant degree of flexibili

YouTube has become difficult to watch because of the ads. It's almost as if they're killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. I've reluctantly switched to NewPipe, and can watch videos ad free. I'm all for supporting

It may surprise some of you (well, it surprised me when I looked it up) that transatlantic cables are only about 25mm in diameter. I personally thought they would have a bigger cross section, but 25mm is all it takes to get a country's

Some of my devs use Eclipse, some VSCode, some Atom, some Vim; it really varies. Sometimes, they'll use one for a particular language, and switch to another for a different language. I think every editor/IDE has its flaws, but all

If you want to get into 3d art, I would definitely give Blender a look. Literally everything you need in one executable, albeit with a steep learning curve (but that's the case with most 3d software).

Every developer in my company unanimously hates Xcode, and we only use it if a client explicitly insists on an iOS app. Otherwise, it's PWAs all the way for 99% of use cases.

The mobile phone market is an oligopoly, with each participant pushing their own (sometimes terrible) agendas. Given that Apple is very deliberately resisting the adoption of PWAs in order to protect their app store, I think it's fair
