It looks like your projects employed PHP poorly. PHP has been great for my company and my developers. We have never had to face such grave consequences because of it, and we've employed it in companies generating millions of $ of reven

Or alternatively, process the data anyway, make tens of billions of dollars from it, and pay a 2 billion dollar fine if the regulators find out. The fine is just another cost of doing business ;)

Recruiters and estate agents seem to be the smarmiest individuals I've ever come across. I'm not sure why that is, but the pattern is obvious. I really don't understand why we're expected to trust the largest transaction

On a localised basis, it is perhaps not so bad, however at a higher level, it allows you to piece together a huge amount of info, including grouping members of households etc. Honestly, it's not a great piece of info to be leaking, if

Honestly, it's about time we got push notifications in Safari. It was a really annoying missing feature, and meant I had to pay Twilio to notify the iOS users of my web app. Hopefully that'll soon come to an end.

That explains why every Indian or Pakistani music video has this sort of comment at the top with a few thousand likes: "I'm Indian/Pakistani, but hats off to Pakistan/India for creating this masterpiece. Music unites us

Not sure if that's smart. Firstly, others will take advantage of a known question, thus you're putting yourself at a disadvantage. And secondly, your job (and perhaps life in general) is about drawing on your experience to solve p

Isn't that like saying the weirdo luring kids with candy in a playground is giving the kids options because they'll probably enjoy the candy?! I'd rather not take the candy.

To be completely honest, I don't think this was a great deal for the users from the start. It seemed like Facebook prying on an uneducated, easily manipulated audience to increase their user base. I know that I certainly wouldn't

Why the heck is running a your own email server so complex?! I run my own email servers, as does my company, and they can be an absolute pain at times. Once you've got everything settled, they're okay, but still, they're unne

I like the idea, however, there are many accounts on here that have a significant amount of karma gained through auto-posting already, and that greatly impacts the effectiveness of such a proposal. For the heavy auto-posters, let's say

Comfortable money + marketing hype keep it that way unfortunately. If governments really wanted to prioritise innovation, they should consider giving a banker's salary to a research scientist.
