Any "bandwidth cost" being a key part of the cost is likely a red herring. It appears the IP address of the host (163.195.16.73) is owned by the SA government, so they are likely paying for bandwidth, not the contractor that developed the s

I don't think the original posting was taking aim at copyright infringement. I think it's just a neat idea that appeals to the hacker instinct - which is why it keeps popping up again and again.

It's also open to corporations in the same locations from a quick glance on my side. My guess is that us foreigners could register a company in Delaware etc, and compete.

Hi! Thanks for a useful resource. If you change your DNS lookup method, I think you'll have fewer false positives where you list domains as being available, when they actually aren't. For example: readia.com is not available, but the wordoi
