I wonder why Apache would need to have two "more similar than different" products.

It's HaCon software, "exe" extensions are kept for historical reasons. These are not Windows binary for a long time already.

I'm starting to get lost in the new Apache animals. How does Apache Goede compares to Apache Ignite (advertised as "in-memory data fabric"?

OMG. A few more interviews? Can't you handle everything in one or two interviews? Seriously, from my (quite senior) point of view - if you've seen my CV, done research on me (StackOverflow, GitHub etc.), seen my code from the take

3 or 6 month probation is an absolute standard in Germany. No, you're not paid 3x during this period.

In Germany, 3 or 6 month trial period is standard. Both sides can tear the contract painlessly in this time.

This seems quite unrealistic and inefficient to me. OP would have to find an open source project (with a good community) which would match his/her skills and accept him/her as a contributor - which is a challenge on it's own.

Identify your weaknesses. What are they? Language? Specifically? Grammar, vocabulary? Or higher-level communication? Or interviews, specifically? I'm twice non-native speaker (English, German) but got good enough to do communication-fo

What you're doing in this comment comes quite close to the doxxing tactics people condemn here Michael for. The quality of his PhD thesis is completely irrelevant to this thread.

We have a record of you doxxing a user on your site. Even with wrong info. Providing you with any personal details for any reason would be extremely unwise at this moment. Neither in this thread. Nor on your website.

It actually even did not matter here if multiplication is commutative or not. The child had to apply the repetitive addition strategy and so he or she did. Just probably not with the taught convention.

a x b = b + ... +b is not a strict definition, it's just a convention. Check the English Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplication It's, as you say, 5x3 = 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 +3. But now check Russian
