I think if some private parties already have access to the info (people who have already downloaded the DB) then we're all better off having access to the list to see if we are on it or not.

I'm willing to bet it will be available in an open format "on the web". The additional formats probably exist to serve a wider audience. It would be nice if I could get it in TeX though.

16:9 has won, and will continue to be the standard for some time. Get the Cannon 4096x2560 or the Chrome Pixel if you need something closer to square.

No one knows how many of the users would have been customers if the app hadn't been available through back channels. It's tough to convince someone to buy the product that you offer when someone else is offering it for free.

Showed my OC'ed Quad Core as a Five Core processor. Made me smile a bit. Then I ran it a second time, got up to 32 cores, and the app crashed my browser.
