iTerm still do not send anything to a third party, you do, by willingfully using a feature that explicitely states so. If you have concern that iTerm would do something behind your back, then you shouldn't be using it in the first plac

The feature requires an OpenAI API so it's not even on by default, you will have to configure it to be able to use it. Not to mention that you just have to not use it and boom, no communication will ever be made with OpenAI even if con

Versioned views, materialized views or procedures are the solution to this. It is frequent that even internally, companies don't give access to their raw data but rather to a restricted schema containing a formated subset of it.

There is a very clear difference between compilation and interpretation: in scripting languages, a statement does not depend on the following ones to be executed, meaning that the code can just be read through. Compilation is different beca

I don't understand this take. Correct and fast are absolutely not mutually exclusive, wether it apply to tests or compilation. The rust compiler is not slow because of all the checks it performs, it's slow because of the way those

Finding a decent croissant is fairly easy in Paris, but if you've ever tasted an actually good croissant, buttery but not sickening, airy but not empty, crispy but not dry, you know how incredibly difficult to find those are.

It's turing complete "so long as you consider user interactions to be part of the “execution” of CSS". So no, it cannot be used to write computer programs.
