At a certain size this level of politicking absolutely happens. Your average director has a number of peers that will often be playing some level of political games that they’ll have to deal with or get overrun. You don’t get to director or

Hmm you can preprocess the data or have intermediate queries get materialized to new tables you can query. That’ll reduce some of the query time.

You're probably going to be hard pressed to really beat out the sheer data throughput capacity of BigQuery without significant developer investment. I've done a lot of Apache Spark, Flume and Beam and they all have their own quirk

I think we’re at the point where creating defect free software is prohibitively expensive and the externalities of having a vulnerable system are not borne by the users of that system. Given that, software has to be considered a living, evo

Another example of a thought leader making outlandish claims that are technically infeasible. Inflation resistant relative to what? Individual currencies and investments will have their own rates of inflation. Inflation is also usually meas

Having one system handle all of it for you is far easier than having to build out all the integrations to host parts of it yourself. A cohesive experience is often better than a custom one.

This is a pretty common thing. I and several other founders I’ve talked to have gotten the same thing, so I would assume it’s automated. It’s unlikely they will do anything sketchy.

I’ve been working in the health tech space for awhile now and it’s sad how you’re not alone in noticing this. It’s the dirty secret of the entire industry, and there’s too many things disincentivizing any fixes. The more I witness this the
