Literally in the second paragraph: > oppose the proposed $3.5tn budget bill put forward by Democrats That makes it pretty clear to me that it's a $3.5TN budget bill. Also, that sentence is a link, so it's underlined. Difficult

Do you believe that, if the numbers had been reversed, and COVID was much more fatal to children and young people than it was to the old, lockdowns wouldn’t have happened? That seems to be the implication of your post, but I find it difficu

Ugh, I did. I was unaware of Epik’s “reputation”, I’d just heard the brand name before so I thought it must be alright. I would have gone with someone else, but most registrars don’t offer the TLD I wanted, and Epik seemed to have the best

As I understand it, as someone who is also not in electronics, the cross at the top of the other capacitors you can see is designed as a pressure release, it’s a deliberate weakness in the structure of the capacitor so that if it fails, tha

Fair enough, I'm sorry for the harsh words, I think I'm just overly cynical, but I'm really glad RC was such a positive experience for you.

Maybe no-one technical, but here in the UK where DNS-based blocking is very prevalent, I know most of my non-technical friends don’t know how to access a website that’s been blocked in this way, and wouldn’t think to look for mirrors. I’ve

If it helps, I’m currently studying maths at university, and I’ve never found them very helpful for my understanding personally. Grant uses a lot of geometric/visual analogy and intuition which just isn’t how I think about problems. I

With the discussion of getting Rust into the Linux kernel, I think there's more interest in graceful recovery from OOM errors. The new Allocator API will (maybe?) help this.

Node is on a number of MDN pages (e.g: [0]). I think it's just APIs that Deno supports and Node doesn't (e.g: fetch) that are linked here, which is why it's not in their support matrices. 0: https://developer.mozil

I would think that this was introduced at the same time as SNI was enabled for Lynx (2009-04-26 from the changelog, but I haven’t checked if it was actually vulnerable at that time). I don’t know if I’d call any URL processing issue basic t
