Break the feedback loop. Keep trusting, keep being fair to everyone. That means not allowing people to break the rules of society due to their personal beliefs but enforcing laws above board. No "shadowbanning" (unlawful arrests)

I'm hoping neovim will be able to adapt these ideas in the future. They're addressing all the hardcoded parts so it should be possible to make any of these with an addon / some nvimrc magic.

Then the system needs to reflect that. If it weren't for open source it would be impossible to compete with established proprietary software companies. 'Proprietary licenses' should expire and become open just like copyright

I could not agree more with this. We need to figure out a way of making a more united front in this war. Its crazy how hard it is to reach people regarding the danger of all this surveillance, I feel completely drowned out.
