Please do not. Some people do not use Discord and thus will never report bugs or give feedback even if they use your software and would otherwise report bugs for other software. Something public-facing that uses standard protocols would be

I like to use non-default apps from F-Droid so it's easier to feel at home on any new device. I do try to only get phones with LineageOS support, but it's cool how much of my usual stuff I can throw on an Amazon tablet or Fire Sti

Rollbacks pretty much only work on LineageOS. I've seen this come up a lot in the last year as multiple F-Droid apps pushed out a bad update and people wanted a fix ASAP rather than in a couple weeks. You can probably extract the apk o

I'm not seeing mention of "LLM", "AI", or "chat" in tfa. Can you explain why you think LLMs played a role here?

Not sure if this will help you, but I keep just one homescreen page with my most-used apps on it, and I've developed muscle memory for all of them. When I set up a new device, I put the same apps in the same spots. Other than the inher

Opposite of my experience. I love reading the lyrics and Genius annotations on songs I like. Vampire Weekend has a lot of good lyrics. Reading the annotations for The Black Keys' Turn Blue album was kinda eye-opening, and Kanye has a l

FWIW if you're on a machine where you're allowed to use non-default configs like oh-my-zsh, you could also just copy over your own custom config. It seems like you're implying the alternative to using oh-my-zsh is to rewrite

I like to re-add the readline binds after enabling vim mode, and then I only leave insert mode occasionally. C-x C-e really is great, though, I think I do tend to reach for that if I need to do a big edit of a one-liner.

This could actually be a reason to work on better supporting older "Android" phones in postmarketOS, to keep the hardware people already have working.

Seconding this. Many sites are broken or inaccessible to me in qutebrowser lately due to Cloudflare captchas. I'd rather allow some bots in than lose the ability to use the site my preferred way.

I don't have strong feelings on 48fps video as I haven't been exposed to it much, if at all (I kind of just ignore LotR and Star Wars and figure I missed the boat on them at this point), but I will say I have watched and recorded

Real high framerate is one thing, but the TV setting is faking it with interpolation. There's not really a good reason to do this, it's trickery to deceive you. Recording a video at 60fps is fine, but that's just not what TV
