Dual-booting Asahi seems like the most realistic path forward. That, or that game porting toolkit thing on the macOS side.

What are you basing that on? It had a release in 2022 and last commit is 7 months old. It probably hasn't needed any new features in a while. I'm not sure how often it would need security updates. Ah, I see now there's a note

Trey can ban the Switch, but offline games will continue to work. Also the account doesn't get banned, so you can buy a new one. (Speaking from experience, unfortunately) You can still play the new Zelda, just can't play Splatoon,

It's harder to find them than I expected, but one search with a result is "super mario wonder nsp". I had the advantage of knowing the format(s) Switch game dumps come in, though, so the average person might not find much.

I think what you're describing is still the case, but the way you described it isn't quite accuratie. The default kernel used is linux-libre. If you need more hardware support and binary blobs, you use regular linux, the same one

mpv is the name of the actual program, I'm not aware of it standing for anything. MPlayer is an older project.

Arch does not normally use or make you use flatpaks, nor is it immutable. You describe SteamOS, which is based on Arch, but with changes to it. This is more clearing up ambiguity for others reading than a correction, there's a decent c

If you enter video-related enthusiast scenes, such as fansubbed anime releases, mpv is recommended over anything else across the board. There are releases that break in VLC, and mpv is usually first to support new features. It also has part
