In addition to the PinePhone and Librem 5, you can also put postmarketOS on some faster Android phones like the OnePlus 6T.

I think getting a flagship device that's a few years old probably makes for a better experience. I check the LineageOS supported devices list, then search eBay for something from there.

Surely a state ID is enough, right? I know at least 3 legal adults in my circles alone without a driver's license, though I believe they all have either a state ID or permit. (Not that I support requiring any sort of meatspace identifi

Did your sciatica go away on its own or did you introduce some new exercises to your routine? I've had some pain in my left leg for a few months now that is likely sciatica. I did go to the doctor, but it wasn't a particularly hel

From what I understand, there is not a single fully trustworthy printer brand, and this can be interpreted both positively and negatively. Not all Brother printers are good (anymore?), but also not all HP printers are bad, despite their rep

Steam Deck and Proton are pretty major, IMO. Even if you exclude the Deck itself for being hardware, SteamOS and all the associated UI/UX is pretty nice.

It just tastes disgusting to me and ruins anything it's in. I have a long history of avoiding certain foods/ingredients (e.g. onions) so I was already somewhat used to reading ingredient labels before deciding if I should consume

Chaining together a few WiFi routers and running a local IRC server with ergo could work well (so get everyone on the same WLAN even if no Internet). There is also Briar chat on mobile. Maybe Mumble for voice could work. I'd look for r

Agreed. I am completely okay with the separate clipboards. Allows stuff like cc or dd followed by pasting in from the system clipboard (different text) without having to go re-copy something because you just overwrote it. I used spacemacs f

Do you have any examples? I've noticed something similar with memes and slang, they'll sometimes popularize an existing old word that wasn't too common before. This is my first time hearing AI might be doing it.
