The comparison between police wearing body cameras and software engineers being monitored by screen recording is flawed. Police officers hold unique power and responsibility. They enforce laws, potentially use force, and make life-altering

Indeed. NIMBYs in my area claim that we should shut down the train because criminals come from the inter city to commit crimes and then return to the city after. I see the claims against telegram to be the same.

Starlink still sucks for remote work. Every time the satellites switch there is a slight disconnection, causing interruption to Zoom meetings.

The distinction between e-bike and scooter is unimportant. The battery technology is the same, contains the same potential energy which gets released and causes fires.

It's only fraud if there's evidence showing you took out the debt. :)

by op00to 2y ago
Yes, this is actually a common way of getting out of debt. Often times the "proof" for a debt is lost in the tangled web of debt collection, and by the time someone comes around to collect, there's no tangible evidence the de

No, at least in my city people drive into the stadium and drive home to the suburbs after. They have easy access to the interstates. The economic impact seems pretty middling to me.
