If I won the lotto and I was able to keep it a secret, I would stay in my current job for the learning opportunities. After a while, I'd start my own company though.

Thanks. I know SQL and use it in work. I am starting a personal project that I plan on taking a long time so I don't want to have to go back to the start to change stuff. For what it's worth I am using Python with Flask.

Depends on the definition of database. It could rule out lots of projects working from large datasets.

Switched to Debian awhile ago and found it annoying that a lot of things online are now Ubuntu specific (guides, etc) so some small things are different. I'll probably install Ubuntu again soon.

I pretty much always right click -> "open link in new tab". I do it on logos a lot since it's common practise to link your logo to your homepage. That said, for this case, this right click implementation seems smart.

A lot of the time, using absolutes is pointless and irritating.

Since all the answers are yes in here, I might as well post since my answer is "no". I don't meditate because 1) That time is better spent doing something else 2) It's boring The only time I have trouble concentrating on code is the after l

Cool, it sounds like you're taking the right approach. You can use what you learn for next valentines day. You could even do it for Xmas (leave a present under the tree for someone you love)

Can you name some large companies that DO make you wear name badges? Why not just put it in your pocket and introduce yourself with your name when you meet people? Unless your manager is anal about it, it seems like it would go unnoticed.
