I'm responding to it directly, the main source is the video linked in parent of this thread. Its description contains further links. I also did link to a relevant statement from the developer in a subthread here. All I said is sourced.

Do I have to explain what root is, or what are you not understanding about the concept of the software provider having complete control of the software on your phone and thus having root rights? Your CopperheadOS description is one perspect

Yeah, it is baffling. Why would a Mozilla domain celebrate mdn's birthday if Mozilla tried to kill it and laid off the complete team that ran it?

That is not correct, or at best a very questionable interpretation. Graphene is a continuation of the open source side of copperhead, but the copperhead project continued to exist even though the Graphene dev sabotaged it by deleting the cr

You are exactly right. To summarise for those who do not want to watch a video, the video shows communications with Graphenes lead developer in which he was extremely hostile and threatened Rossman. It also goes into how said developers hal

No. I run a rolling release distro, void, for years and never had to fix anything caused by system updates. It is not nonsense at all to state that this exists. I would suggest to look a bit more at other distros outside the arch bubble bef

Yes. Meat consumption is not exactly healthy. It's absolutely plausible that replacing it with something like this is a net plus. That "grass-fed beef" is like a healthy standout is an unsubstantiated myth.

No official LineageOS support according to https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/ . And no, missing vendor support is still an issue even with Lineage support, as soon as firmware (and sometimes driver) updates are needed.

On the CSS side, I sometimes use named colors as an anchor point. Like when writing a dark mode and thinking "that text might look good in yellowish" I set "amber", and the result was good enough to keep it. Other times

I see how that can be misleading. It's globally not a percentage based score. The benchmark is creating a global order based on which one is faster, including indirect comparisons. But that only takes care of the position, not the rati

Tell that to AMDs bulldozer. There is something to be said for considering theoretical performance, but one can't ignore how hardware works in practice, now.

So, for one in other software the new processors do better. The 285K beats the i9-14900KS by a bit in my app benchmark collection (which is less extensive, but still). And second yes, according to https://www.computerbase.de/

To see what that means in practice, in my multi generational meta benchmark the 285K lands currently only on rank 12, behind the top Intel processors from the last two generations (i7-13700K and 14700K plus the respective i9) and several AM

No, that is not correct or at least it has not been. Amazon was said to intermingle the inventory in the warehouses, mixing third party products with those shipped and sold by Amazon. So that gave you zero protection. I read that they made
