Try “@gmail” in Gemini I think this is a problem for Google. Most users aren't going to do that unless they're told it's possible. 99% of users are working to a mental model of AI that they learned when they first encounter

So you trust Google with the data in your google drive, but you don't trust Google (Opal Team) with the data in your drive? Yes. More specifically, I trust Google not to use my files to train its AI if I haven't given permission

In the past I've worked with devs who complain about the cost of context switching when they're asked to work on more than one thing in a sprint. I have no idea how they'd cope with a tool like this. They'd probably comp

AI sales seems to be very much aligned with productivity improvement - "do more of the same but faster" or "do the same with fewer people"). No one is selling "do more".

There is no central aggregated place for data about US citizens arrested for the sort of things the UK's Malicious Communications Act covers. There is no reason to assume that the US is more free. It could be much worse.

No. LLMs can only reorder what they've seen in training data in novel ways. Humans can have original ideas that aren't in their training data. As a trivial example, John Carmack invented raycasting for Wolfenstein 3D. No matter ho

When I was a kid I had a big box of C15 tapes. The number is the length in minutes. 15 minutes isn't all that useful for music or voice, but it was ideal for ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 games (and saves, and software I wrote myself.)

There's a famous quote that says we all die twice, once when we physically die and a second time when we are truly forgotten by humanity. It's attributed to lots of different people. https://quoteinvestigator.com/2
