Good e-voting systems would allow you to change your vote as many times as you want before the deadline. This makes pressuring/bribing ineffective, as you are able to change your vote afterwards.

Yes, but I wouldn't underestimate their foreign propaganda. It's very obvious in some countries, for example mine (Bulgaria), where trolls affiliated with Russia regularly flood articles with anti-EU and anti-US comments.

What you describe is the "old" way to use promises. Instead, you can yield promises inside generator functions, or better yet use async/await with a transpiler. Both methods give you nice sync-looking code.
