1. Thanks that's v kind :) 2. A bit complicated, but it's not an added financial burden :) 3. I'd love to grow it, the API, and a bunch of other things related to it. 4. Yeh there are some routes, but for the time being, I&#x

Yep I know of them. They're gr8. We're just positioned differently (I'm much more interested in having everything be open source).

I run a side (open source) project called Iconduck ( https://iconduck.com ). It collects and makes open source icons, illustrations and graphics available to download in various formats. The goal is to collect sets from across the

Hi all - This is a proof-of-concept I built. When you make a call to this API, it will keep track of the URL you pass in, and then request _that_ URL after a time delay. For example, if a user signs up to your app, and you want to email the

Thanks for clarifying. I think there are better ways to ask a question like that (eg. "what differentiates x from y.."). It's also built on an assumption: looking at those two sites side by side, there's nothing glaringl

Could be seen as ironic, but I frame it more in the light of being critical of something, yet also understanding the value it can bring. I may be critical of industrial farming, large corporate environmental policies and/or Facebook, b

Hi all - Pigeon is a Chrome extension I built that allows you to get the contact info about your elected officials right from within Gmail. I wanted a quick-and-easy way to click a button, see my official, and then click to open a new compo

Hi HN - My partner and I just launched Zenlogin. It's a super-straightforward security API that you can integrate into your login flow, whereby if/when we detect a suspicious login (via things like IP and User Agent), we'll s

Yep that all makes sense. I'm sure it's a tough job. For some context, our front end manages just 7 different libraries, but it's a pain to deal with so many edge cases. The worst and trickiest one was definitely ad blocking.

I think I'd reply to this with a "yes and no" kinda thing. For us, maintaining anything requires time and $$. This is, in part, because technology changes. Even in a vacuum with no new active development, money and $$ is requ
