I think your job is to some extent what you make of it. While it is true that work is handed down to you, it is possible to create your own work, and in a lot of cases (in my exp) it shows favorably on you as an employee. Plus its more fun

javascript jabber, I don't always listen so much to the language specifics but the ideas. I enjoy it. There is also Ruby Rogues which is pretty good too.

Also assuming I can read, it doesn't look like that function is used, (I searched second in the same file, and in the higher level folder, and couldn't find that function called anywhere)

I'm not 100% sure what he's doing here, however I know when I have used new Date().getTime() it returns something like milliseconds, and thus I had to divide by 1000 to result in seconds, so it appears that he's subtracting

I am definately no expert, but reading abouy allergic load is fascinating. I think the general idea is you have a pitcher of allergies, when it gets full you see a reaction. So while in many cases you may never see a response, with enough

Also ive been having more stiff necks/neck pain in the mornings and wondered if getting some sort of exercise would help, i grew up being pretty active, but since the kiddos i think there is a marked difference in level of activity.

I actually do little or not dedicated working out, we have pedometers from work, and i hit 7k easily during the week, and 12k over the weekend. I am pretty sure i can run a sub 10 minute mile (but would have to run one to confirm). Goals...
