I don't have any data, but it wouldn't at all surprise me if single/business travelers are way more likely to cancel or change flights, and this is just pricing that into the ticket cost.

I think if you understand the fundamentals of how computers work and can debug anything to figure out what is causing a problem you will be valuable for a long time. most people either don't have the requisite knowledge to do this, or

The rationality community I'd say is very curious, on the whole - see astral codex ten, marginal revolution, lesswrong, etc Regardless of what you think of them it's hard to argue they aren't curious

One thing I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned is that Brady is known to be a complete health nut. His diet, exercise and lifestyle regimens are freakish.
