Mostly things that smelled like memory leaks (pull a matte, leave it for a while, come back and tweak it => long coffee break). Also, restoring from idle seemed to be the hardest on Snow Leopard.

Do you work for the Foundry? I find that Nuke for OSX is by far the crashiest. Was wondering why.

I think I know who removed the Scroll Lock from our keyboards. Meet me by the service entrance to the 69th Regiment Armory, no questions asked. We'll trebuchet that little devil to Siam.

Seriously, this algorithm (along with Levenshtein distance) should be taught in high-school.

To be fair, Oracle is (or was planning on) making heaps of money out of Java for business. Client-side Java seems like less than a portion of their plan to start with (anyone who mentions JavaFX here gets banned from the internet) - I mean,

I thought so too until I read the last 3 paragraphs. "Those numbers check out" is totally valid. But concluding with the relevance of the measure of gun harm is an observation about reality, not Statistics, which is debatable, but has no re

There's a 'help' button on the top-right corner in case you get lost - but I guess I should curb my minimalism and make it larger. The visualization is meant to visually explain the 'distance'. If the chosen word (top scope) falls down nice

I'll definitely look into the Brown clustering. I used this one with the hope of being able to eventually run spectral clustering on this (main problem: the KLIC defines a pre-metric, not a proper metric, so the order of operations is cruci

The "disruption" is the promise to get 12-bit RAW out of it for this cheap. It isn't necessarily disruptive (RED cameras are still competitively priced, considering the budgets of productions that could harness what RAW has to offer), but i
