I wrote a blog post last week explaining how the approximate track and final zone could be calculated using the ping data (if more than one ping exists) and dead reckoning (heading and speed). Mind you that I don´t really know the informati

Now imagine that you could create a gravity alternator and use gravity in a similar way to electricity... of course this doesn't make sense, but maybe there are gravity applications not even imagined by now.

As far as I know it´s not been published, I´m just making an example of what kind of information it would give (not too much). I´ve read that the telephone ping was just every hour or so, that gives you at least 5 or 6 pings during the flig

I´m finishing a blog post on how to use the satellite ping chain (with the consecutive position arcs) and the known cruise speed of the B777 to create a probable route tree over the maps. Maybe it´s not going to give much information (ping

I´m just wild guessing here, but if the US had had the MH370 located with a classified radar or satellite, and they know it had crashed, It would be stupid to disclose that technology. They would better use available resources to point the

I don't know how holding will help you. But decompressions happen suddenly and you feel as usual. You are not getting prePared for holding your breath. Also remember that pressure is droping fast, if you hold your breath you'll ha

I still think that it´s some kind of hijacking, but there is the possibility that the crew started screwing themselves while working on an emergency, and then getting lost at sea.. Not the most probable but possible.

You´ll be amazed how fast you can start screwing things at a cockpit once you have an unknown emergency or even worst a known emergency that you have misunderstood. Just deselecting the wrong button (for example disconnecting a generator an

Fly by wire is controlled by a computer, but the autopilot is controlled by another one and the FMC is another different one. All of the can only be loaded with new software locally via cable, and they are very limited computers, most of th

Then the pilots would have take over manual controls. Current autopilots are quite dumb and just follow sequential programs point to point. No way to hack a plane for hours, even if the pilots displays fake information, you´ll have control

So mastering the energy Of gravity could be the ultimate advanced civilization objective. A warp drive is just the first practical (or at least the most obvious) aplication of such technology. <_end Startrek like voice>

Maybe it's more useful to sprinkle massive amounts of bacteria and such... maybe develop some that have some kind of resistance to the radiation. They´ll die eventually but you can keep the planes at it.

There is a code that can be used by the cabin crew to access the cockpit in this cases. It's cancelable from the inside, so if a hijacker tries to use it you can put it of once it starts ringing(it rings for 30 seconds and then opens t
