I suppose you're right. Just after seeing my family lose internet a bunch of times due to the ISP supplied router just straight up failing, I don't have much confidence in the hardware. Also I don't think that rebooting the r

What a rude reply. I was just sharing something I thought was funny, since most shows today only have like 8-10 episodes per season. To get through 2 seasons of TNG is like going through 10 seasons of a modern show.

ISP gear is still trash. It's just better for the user, because the ISP won't bitch and moan and tell you your hardware is unsupported.

Dude. It blows my mind there are over 25 episodes per season of most of the older series. I know most of the series had rough starts, but they really get good in the later seasons. I tried to tell someone to just watch it, and tell them how

If you're just lazy like me, you just go through an exterior wall, staple the cable up along some trim, and go back through the wall into the room you want the cable. Caulk it up and paint it and you can't even tell it's ther

Seattle dropped residential speed limits to 20mph some time ago. Havent followed up to see what impact that has had yet... Most roads though still kepts their old speed limits. What happens in the US when speeds are too low, is you get half

That's the thing I loved most about Spotify. Unfortunately their "radio" sucks. It generates a 1 time playlist of 50 songs. Pandora has the shittiest interfaces ever, but it does a damn good job DJing for me. Most of the time

I didn't like it either. I think it looks too real and takes you out of the fantasy. Something about the way 24fps looks is different from reality and lets your imagination take you away a bit easier. I can't really explain it. Li

ICE engines may be more complex, but batteries are still more expensive than a small ICE engine. Have you seen the cost of a replacement battery for a Tesla? $12-20k all day long. You don't need a massive, high performance ICE engine t
