While there may be much debate regarding who should receive them I don't think anyone in the UK is arguing that we should get rid of social benefits.

As a developer who's taking an increasing interest in the design of the products I work on I'd love to read some of the material you'd be exposed to in a proper design education. What are the bibles of design that students are generally exp

I've never found a way to fine tune the letter-spacing using css, the smallest unit seems to be 0.07em which is usually too much. Would love to know how to do it if it's possible.

The problem seems to be that projects just lapse, the owner's stop paying attention and the number of forks starts to pile up. Perhaps when the number of forks hits a certain point everyone that has a fork should receive an email asking if

Very nice job, manual cutups are definitely a bit of a chore and having the assets update automatically is sweet. I take it you have to save the assets again after an update in photoshop though? If that is the case maybe you could serve the

That's a nice bit of marketing by Elon, changing the conversation from auto-drive to autopilot. Kinda shows how clueless google is about it's own marketing.

I certainly agree with what you're saying about the feedback loops, as long as you're able to manipulate the loop into healthier behaviour then it doesn't really matter where in the loop you intervene. My issue with pharmaceuticals is that

Thought is a dynamic and emergent property of the system, the combination of physiological state and stimulus. Perhaps a better way to phrase my original question would be: if the brain is a chaotic system, how do you distinguish between th

How do you distinguish between the physiological causes and symptons? Given that it's possible for different thought patterns to produce different physiological effects how can you ever be sure whether physiological state is the cause or ef

Could you use twitter to grab some reviews? You wouldn't need to do it ongoing but it might be a good way to get to a critical mass of reviews.

I think meetup.com fills this role fairly well at the moment. There's definitely room for improvement but if you're looking for a group of people that want to play some tennis, go climbing etc. then it's a pretty good bet.
