From my own retrospective notes, tasks that are "dangerous" (w.r.t. planning) are: * Administrative; i.e. my brain doesn't anticipate any tangible end product or outcome upon completion, and... * Free of a strict, externally

Brains are not magic, and will be reproduced eventually, but DNNs are a fundamentally weaker architecture and won't be enough. Neural nets can solve some problems that brains can solve easily and lots of other ML methods couldn't

Very high level, but I think http://www.r2d3.us/ is actually a pretty good visual intro, although it skips over information gain/CART metrics.

the code was hacked together during a lecture so it's not very clean or robust, but here's the gist if you're trying to build something similar: https://gist.github.com/madebyollin/508930c86fa12e1a70e32d9

Interesting! The only .scpt files I can find in /System are Automator actions or in Script Utility itself, and of those the only one that seems relevant is Library/Automator/Initiate Remote Broadcast.action/Contents/

Agreed on points in the article. Would be good to note that using thinner stroke for interior details (and thicker strokes for "important" lines that represent large depth discontinuities) is also a reasonable design choice (exam

Ditto for this (800+ entries so far). If you've got a script set up to make/open them, I've found it's also useful to have it append the current time automatically each time you jot down a note, so you have rough time s
