Very unrelated but if anyone reading this is dealing with long covid/brain fog related symptoms, try famotidine (pepcid).

Correct, a conflict of interest for sure, but it's still a peer reviewed paper regardless.

This tracks with my own theory on ADHD. It often times feels like a super power when it isn't ruining your life. If you manage it, it's remarkable. Left to its own devices, it's debilitating. When I was younger I tried to med

I feel like personal websites were commonplace 20 years ago, almost expected. No real social media back then, so your website kind of became an extension of your online social life.

Yeah, and the same logic applies to traditional banks. You control billions of dollars, your threshold for mistakes is very small. And this isn't a case of "bugs or mistakes", it's a case of being underprepared.

Feel like a large portion of your responsibility as a financial institution should be reliability and uptime. This is just cartoonishly bad.

Because I'm a masochist I usually charge $6.5k for brand, design and development and try to finish that out within a month. $46k isn't crazy for bloated agency prices, but the way they managed to upsell you is pretty scummy.

For sure, the stuff 10+ years ago was pretty goofy and the amount of hacks required even further back to make it work across 4+ different browsers was super annoying. I guess I'm not thinking about all those growing pains today.

I don't understand the CSS confusion. Maybe because I've been doing it for 15+ years but it's extremely intuitive to me and I love working with it. Tailwind annoys me because it removes some of that flexibility / freedom

Its very telling when this is the kind of equivalence someone tries to make about service industry workers. The act of physically SERVING someone and answering to their every whim is a unique role in society. If you lack the empathy to comp
