From reactions I've seen it appears that GPT-5 hallucinates less than previous models but the flip side is that it's worse for creative tasks. This makes logical sense: you don't want a model to get creative if you need funct

Sure, trivially. Let's see you do it then. There are new data centres being built and that's just for LLMs. So stop them. Are you starting to see the problem? You might want to stop a rogue AI but you can bet there will be someone

Not really. That would just be the way life is to those people. Showing them videos of how people lived on a planet would be like asking them to imagine how a caveman lived. If they did rebel it would probably be more along the lines of rea

Yes, and an object in OOP isn't really a physical object. And a string isn't really a thin bit of rope. No-one cares. It's just terminology.

Why shouldn't the US be writing reports? I presume they have basic literacy skills. Well, perhaps not the current government appointments but that's surely an exception.

Lack of exercise is vastly more likely to cause injury to your body than exercise is. Unless you're an elite athlete pushing your body beyond what is reasonable, but that really doesn't apply to most people.

So why don't we see Republican Americans advocating to adopt the Swiss system which provides universal coverage at a lower per capita cost?

This seems like a self correcting problem. In the past, women who didn't really want children didn't have a great deal of choice, particularly if they wanted to follow any kind of socially acceptable life. It was considered a fail

Solar doesn't have to be "ideal" to be practical. The whole of the UK is north of California and solar is certainly deployed here.

I had a quick search and there's a Reddit thread where the first comment is critical but they get corrected by replies. Then some right wing blogs that spend more time on ad hominem and remarks about "lefty" admirers than act

You're absolutely right that this is a problem when you're trying to break into the C suite. This is a deliberate tactic. Don't accept their framing. You are following the correct procedure and... This is the tough bit, you n

I held you to a higher standard based on the meat of your comment. It would have stood without that last. I've written many comments where I added a dig at the end but I now try to remove them because they rarely help.

Yes, if that's your process then that's what you're being paid to do. OTOH, why shouldn't your team be able to say you're a bad manager and just get you fired? There is rarely a simple process to do that. They'
