Nice article. Since the beginning of the 1990s I enjoy using the hash tables implemented by John Ousterhout for Tcl: https://core.tcl-lang.org/tcl/file?name=generic/tclHash.c&ci...

I opened this page because of the friendly "Non-Facebook alternative...". In my view, we should ignore software by companies that actively seek to destroy our societies.

I am really curious: Why does restructured text get so little mindshare? I used it once to make an ebook into a website, using sphinx. The format is easy to write and read and it has extensibility as a builtin.

Just yesterday I stumbled across https://pyspread.gitlab.io/ after finding that coding Excel is a complete desaster from a software engineering point of view - no testing, no debugging, no version control, no structure. It

Other than being the „Right Thing“ to use, this is the real killer as Excel frequently can‘t open its own CSV Files. Microsoft seems to hate its users very much.

PasswordVault 1.10 is out. It is super easy to install to your Wio Terminal. Just drop the release file https://github.com/PasswordVault/passwordvault/releases/tag/... to the Arduino drive.

I started as a developer in the 80s on vt100 terminals with green and amber on black screens. I vividly remember how nice it was to switch to a light background without flicker and have never looked back. Choose what works for you.

Nice! I love the re-invention of Logo-like textual languages. Just a few days ago I came across MOOSE language, used by Amy Bruckman in her online community. A lost art it seems.
