I'm hearing a lot of people say that even if you get the vaccine, you can still get covid. Is that true?

No. It would be my city's technology officer, basically. Subsidiarity.

I wonder if a solution is a "login with facebook/instagram" option on messengers like Matrix / Element. So it could be as frictionless as possible to get people on it and then everyone has a matrix ID as well.

What is especially exciting about the idea, is the opportunity to incorporate modern internet into the town from the start. The article mentions solar panels and wifi technicians. Naturally, the town would be equipped with a kind of mesh ne

I recommend adding more Product Manager tools like Monday, Smartsheets, etc. I notice that a lot of PMs have separate tools for managing roadmap stuff (even though Jira works for this too, idk).

I can confirm that this is a common salary for someone just out of college, even in NYC yes. She may work in Manhattan but she doesn't need to live there. Many young people have roomies in Brooklyn. It's what you sign up for when

sounds like you’re describing Matrix. It’s a shame that the only user friendly mobile client is called “fluffy chat” and seems to be targeted at furries or children.

There needs to be a Rust translation of Learn Go With Tests[1]. It’s the best programming book i’ve ever used. [1]: https://quii.gitbook.io/learn-go-with-tests/

They have the most productive and high quality engineers in the game. And I say this as someone that whinces at telegram for not having e2e encryption by default.

This is really inspiring to see consumer electronics made in America. So many people say that “we lost the capability” to do such. $2000 isn’t a bad price in the grand scheme of things. But I will be waiting until the software / UI is

Helium is taking off in the IOT space. I am not sure if it can be used for regular communication like messaging or not, but that would be amazing if it could. https://www.helium.com/

On the mobile site, I couldn’t find any information on what the game is or how it works. Maybe add more of a header section to explain the game or have a picture of what it looks like in a game?

That sounds like a different role to me. I think we’re talking about different things. Product Managers vs managing the work flow / engineering work. That was a funny read, thanks.

Seems like there would be a benefit to having a manager that is actually further from the problem itself. Less precious about details and more focused on universal principles. What ex-engineer managers had was respect for the craft itself.

Has anyone used Scratch style blocks for real physical blocks? They fit together like puzzle pieces. Kind of a neat visual that could translate to physical medium.

The devious aspect to this is that nobody knew the development was happening so we couldn’t invest even if we wanted to. It was kept under wraps for a grade A pump.

The irony is that the coin would be excusable if it was used as a utility token to power a decentralized network of incentivized nodes (like Status or Session). But Signal is still centralized. So there’s no reason for the sh*tcoin other th

This is either the mandela effect (I know for a fact that the server was stuck on "April 2020" for at least 6 months), or Signal intentionally hid development and then revealed it all when they realized it was bad PR.
