   That TikTok algorithm is something else. I thought classmates were exaggerating about how much it sucked them in until I checked my Screen Time after a week of using the app.

   On iOS 14.5 Siri will occasionally ask which service you meant and use that as the default for a while. Although that’s just a “soft” default. If I press play on my headphones with both Spotify and AM closed it still latches to Apple Music.

   In that situation, a good faith mistake wouldn't be prosecuted in the first place. It's hard enough getting clear malpractice charged anyways.

   I’ve noticed even I unconsciously look for more opportunities to give Apple leeway. Maybe developers do the same after being so entrenched in the ecosystem.
