MAPS.ME is an awesome product, and probably the best alternative to Google Maps: great performances, free and open source and not trying to track you everywhere. Allowing user to contribute back to OSM makes it even greater.

Looks interesting, but it has naming incoherences: 'pip install javascripython' actually installs in site-packages/metapensiero/pj. I don't get why it does not simply install in site-packages/javascripthon.

The Micropython board is pretty expensive (25€), porting it to to cheap ESP8266 (10% of the price) would make Python a top language for IoT. Plus it provides interactive shell on a micro-controller.

The Python interpreter itself is only about 1.5-2 Mo. The issue is mainly related to the libraries.
