Me: one can put locations in the http level? Claude 2: Yes, you can define location blocks at the http level in Nginx. Locations at the http level will apply to all server blocks defined in the config. So it allows you to configure behavior

People in the UK live in canal boats all over the country, and it's increasing too, presumably due to the "housing crisis" that's too profitable to do anything about.

It depends. Most of them are undocumented, have no testing and have accumulated years of RHEL specific stuff (RPMs, using EPEL for dependencies, ansible). At the same time they service hundreds of important users per day, making them diffic

Because we've built up services, applications, and thousands of lines of ansible that only work on RHEL?

I don't understand why this "it makes mistakes therefore it doesn't think" meme is so common. It's clearly nonsense.

I tried to use GTK for a little project at work and I couldn't figure out how to make it look decent. I ended up making a flask app and launching a browser. It seemed to be 100x easier. I would prefer to make native GUI apps but it

I don't agree. It's like saying humans are just animated meat. You're massively simplifying the situation.

It seems that you don't know what you don't know, really. There's no way to definitively know what properties ChatGPT has. It does seem to reason to some extent and it does often say that some information isn't known

OK? It's feature in development. Eventually emacs 29 with tree sitter will be part of distro packaging, and it will just be an "apt install emacs" away.

Ok, but the error is more of a syntax error. If I did this in an interview, you wouldn't accuse me of a lack of some ineffable human quality of "deep understanding". Anyway, I asked it to fix it, and behold: def print(l

I mean I can't even imagine what would lead anyone to write millions of lines of Python for a single project, so maybe there's a level of serious above what I do. Maybe you're doing it wrong?

Yeah, Xorg is better. It's faster, more stable, uses less power, and has more features, and more environments. 14 years later there's still no rational reason to run Wayland, and I doubt there ever will be.
