I also think some of those CEOs should be fired, but I don't even think there was over hiring... It's more that demand went up by a lot suddenly, and then down by a lot suddenly.

Except we'll not always get those undergrads ... When most of the stories are about layoffs, we won't get any more majors, but it takes ~5 years to start (not that many people will change majors).

How much can they relax the requirements, and what effects would it have on their products? Alternatively, how much more they'd have to pay to get the same quality of people? I'd assume it's close to 20% more, which should be

For normal fiction, the Kindle is ideal for me. Much more comfortable to hold than even a small paperback, can increase the font size (getting old) and can illuminate the screen. Plus, I can carry a full library with me. I haven't foun

Notice you are creating your own arbitrary definition of 'truly open', which IMHO corresponds more with 'reproducible'. We already have a definition of open source. I don't see any reason to change it.

Actually the issue is not residency; basically everyone who graduates med school gets a residency. The filter is on entering med school.

If you are reading this, ignore the despair and misogynism above. We definitely can use more programs, but there are tons of programs, government and private. Community college is cheap (or free with grants). You can do this.

In the US? The most obvious way would be to get a crappy job, enter community college; in two years, get an associates and a better job, and go from there.

Unemployment is low because the economy is growing, and our population has been getting older on average. We have many different ways of measuring unemployment, which count different things. For example, employment to population ratio of pr
