Seriously? What tax rate do you pay on your regular 40h a weke job? What tax rate do you pay on investments? Most people are taxed roughly 36% (28% income tax, 2% medicare, 6% social security) on their labor, however investments are only ta

That assumes its a trust, what if you just created an s-corp with a few other people and used that as an investment vehicle? Plus, is there any consequence to saying "yes I am an accredited investor" even if you aren't? I wou

I don't believe the club would have to meet the requirement. I think if you do your investing via an LLC or Corporation you could subvert that rule but I'm not really sure.

Does TPC require durability? It seems like you could get even better performance (or perhaps that's what they do) if you just got something like a Fujitsu M10-4S Server and stuffed 32TB of ram in it.

How do you do that with a pure hardware machine with physical access without rebooting the machine? Even if you freeze the memory with liquid nitrogen and extract the data from it, that process results in the server needing rebooted afaik.

How do you handle reboots? If all of your partitions are encrypted I would guess you use a serial console to enter in the encryption password to decrypt and mount the actual OS drive?

Assuming you don't have any sort of console access configured and its a physical server how could they do that without letting you know via at least a reboot?

I don't even think emissions is much of a drawback these days due to catalytic converter technology. Much of the particulate emissions from diesels you see is from either older ones (pre 2000ish big rigs) or from modified ones (F250s w

Maybe they just took the servers that were used for/labeled as email or other corporate purposes and left the storage farm that had all the content on? Assuming a segmented network I would think all the corporate servers were on one ne

You should probably have people use visudo instead of editing /etc/sudoers directly. If you make a typo or similar that prevents sudo from running correctly it will catch it.

In my case the tax deductions make it effectively $500/mo cheaper than renting a comparable apartment and the yearly coop fee increases are less than the yearly increases in rent. Doing some real quick math, I think, ignoring appreciation,

Are you sure its not a semi-automatic AKM? Also I don't think any user of an AK-47 would call either a machine gun, more likely a rifle. A user of an AK-47 would probably call a RPK a machine gun though.
