A site like Github that hosts open source projects brings a lot of value to the community. Great search, and the same UI when going from project to project. This would be much more cumbersome and time consuming if every project was on a dif

Seems like the Performance Tools is now on par with Chrome, unless I'm missing something. These tools are sorely needed for web developers, Nik Molnar's talk[0] on web performance is a great intro on how to use these in real world

I feel like I'm not understanding the implications of this, because my reaction is "meh". Can't the FBI fly helicopters now without a warrant? What's different about this compared with past behavior? I guess I'

I think the implication is the Minecraft had stalled under Mojang, and that hopefully Microsoft can get things going again. Which is usually the opposite of what's expected when a large corp buys a small shop.

Are you a parent? Not trying to dismiss your opinion, just want to make a counterpoint. Sure, pedophile interactions mostly never happen. But as a parent, I agonize over the awful (although rare) events that my kids could go through. So I&

If you're interested in this kind of thing, Becky Stern with Adafruit is a pretty great source for DIY wearables. Lots of tutorials and a regular Youtube series that keeps you updated on the latest products and tools.

The "just takes one" argument doesn't work on reddit because if the one question goes against the hive mind, it gets downvoted into oblivion and will likely never be seen in the AMA.

I think the headphone comparison is really weak. If you want to listen to any audio, in most settings you need headphones (at work, in public spaces). Smart watches do not fill that void. They may make certain tasks easier, but there are ot
